Terms of engagement

Parties and acceptance

Agent Canvas Base (“we”, “us”) provides written activation reporting and related studies for marketplace apps. By requesting a quote, paying a booking sum, or using this website, you accept these terms. If you commission work on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.

The work

The deliverable is a written report or study and the briefings described in the relevant commission. We do not sell software, subscriptions, or access to a live environment. Quotes describe scope; work outside that scope requires a written variation.

Your materials

You warrant that event exports and account samples you send are provided lawfully and, where required, anonymised. You remain responsible for any permission needed from your own users or sellers. We will not contact your sellers unless you arrange introductions.

Intellectual property

You keep ownership of your event data. Upon full payment, you receive a licence to use the delivered report inside your organisation, including sharing with investors or a board. You may not resell the report, publish it as your own research, or use our name to imply a certification of your marketplace. Our method, templates, and field notes on this website remain ours.

No reliance as audit

Reports are professional opinions based on the exports and definitions agreed. They are not a financial audit, a legal opinion, or a certification of marketplace health. We do not warrant a particular commercial outcome after you change onboarding or seller incentives.

Liability

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, our liability for a given engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect loss, lost orders, or decisions you take after a briefing. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 or other mandatory Malaysian law.

Confidentiality

We treat your exports and drafts as confidential and retain them only as described in the privacy notice. You treat our unpublished draft wording as confidential until the final report is delivered.

Website use

Content on this website is informational. Rates are starting figures, not offers capable of immediate acceptance. You may not scrape, copy substantial portions of our field notes for commercial publication, or misrepresent an affiliation with us.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any non-excludable rights you may have as a consumer.
