What we collect

From the contact form: name, email, commission requested, marketplace type, event-window indication, and the content of your brief. During an engagement we may also receive named contacts, event exports, and anonymised account samples. Server logs may record IP address and browser type at a technical level if our host keeps them.

Why we use it

We use enquiry data to reply, quote, and perform the contracted report. We use engagement files to write the reconstruction you commissioned. We do not sell personal data. We do not use enquiry content to train a public model.

Legal basis

For Malaysian personal data, we process enquiry and contract data as necessary to take steps at your request and to perform a contract, and to meet record-keeping duties. Where consent is required for optional analytics cookies, we ask via the cookie banner. You may withdraw that consent without losing access to reports, rates, or the form.

Retention

Unsuccessful briefs are kept up to twelve months in case you return with a cleaner export. Contracts, invoices, and final reports are kept for seven years for accounting and dispute purposes. Event exports are deleted within ninety days after the final briefing unless a written recap is already booked and needs the same files. Cookie choices stored in your browser remain until you clear them.

Your rights

Subject to the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you may request access to personal data we hold about you, correction of inaccuracies, and, where applicable, to limit processing. Send requests to info@agentcanvasbase.digital. We may need to verify identity. You may complain to the Department of Personal Data Protection in Malaysia.

International transfers

Our website host and email provider may store copies outside Malaysia. Where that happens we rely on their contractual safeguards. Event exports for a report are stored on systems we control for the engagement period; we do not place them in public folders.

Children

This site is aimed at professional commissioners of marketplace reports, not at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under sixteen.
